Call for Papers
Paper Proceedings **The review process is now complete**
Designing is increasingly taking place in shifting territorial, economic, and policy contexts. DRS2018 will explore emergent themes at the intersections of design research, design practice, design education and design policy. We ask what are the ways in which design research can Catalyse progressive change in this emerging world?
DRS2018 takes place in Limerick, Ireland in an exciting four-day conference from 25th to 28th June 2018. As well as DRS2018 Call for Papers, we also seek submissions for the PhD by Design event, Workshop sessions and Conversation sessions. Please see the website for the Call for Conversations, Call for Workshops, and PhD by Design.
We embrace research looking at, and using, design in the widest possible sense with interdisciplinary work and work responding to the conference theme.
The Peer Review Process
We had a big response to the paper call. More than 470 papers were submitted which required 940 individual paper reviews to take place. All papers received at least two reviews. We have accepted 153 papers (32%), asked 65 papers (14%) for revisions, and rejected 253 papers (54%). All papers submitted to an Additional Theme or Special Interest Group were managed and looked at by Track Chairs who, following the review process, made recommendations to the Programme Committee about which papers should be accepted. The Programme Committee retained oversight throughout.

Submitting the final version of your paper
We have a new DRS template for camera ready papers, so you will need to transfer content from your previously uploaded file to the new template. You can add author details to your paper and identify any previously anonymised material. Please ensure that you meet all paper formatting requirements given in the paper template. This includes figure, table, and reference styles. We believe the reviewers have valid suggestions to improve your paper, so we would appreciate if the final version would address the minor changes suggested by the reviewers. In this case, you should submit details of the revisions you have made, following the review comments, using the template document:
For all fully Accepted Papers:
Paper revision document for revised papers:
For all Revised Papers:
